UPDATES - Kelly's Journey Progress, Etc.

Updates! Because I like to keep you guys as informed as possible. I have made it a semi-unconscious goal of mine to make an update on here, at least once a month.

Totally looks like I need to fix the HTML for this journal layout, which is fine. I can do that at some point.

Anyway, let's go have some updates, shall we? UPDAAAAAAAATESSSSS!!!

Kelly's Journey
Awesome News: Episode 20 has been WRITTEN. It's the sunken S.S. Anne episode. It was actually a lot of fun to write. Of course, nobody but me and apparently Hurricane500000 who I kept copying & pasting parts to will see it until probably next year.

Not-So-Awesome-News: I was totally struggling with episode 2's rewrite, which has put me off from moving on to episode 21 and episode 2's rewrite.

On the flip side, I did solve that issue by just simply editing the episode that was already written, since it's pretty good in the first place. Hopefully that will be done soon and I can get a move onto writing more Kelly's Journey episodes!

I don't think anyone's keeping track, but so far, I have 4 unposted episodes for the series and 1 unposted rewrite/re-edit. This probably sounds like it sucks, but I'm hoping the wait will be rewarding for everyone. I mean, wouldn't it be nice if I was releasing an episode at least once a month? That's what I'm aiming for.

Again, I don't plan on posting anything this year. If I DO post anything, it will be the updated versions of the episodes already posted. All the newer stuff will be next year...if things go according to plan. Which they tend not to.

Website
After talking to somebody at work, I decided to update the main page of my website to include a splash image to my commission's site. It's the only main page that is 100% up (even if I feel like I will have to make some adjustments to it later down the road). I linked it so everyone can just see it from the main page.

The blog layout progress is very slow because I'm lazy and am considering just finding a tutorial that doesn't make me want to use two computers so I can actually copy all the coding by typing it. (Don't ask.) I'll get it done though. Perhaps not the way I want it to be, 100%, but good enough for it to be functional and custom. That's all I want!

Commissions
I'm still kind of struggling how I'm doing my commission batches, but for my March batch, I have 2 out of 3 left (darn backgrounds). I so far have one definite for my April batch, which has been paid (I'll get to your commission soonish...hopefully).

I think I need to decide if I actually really, truly want to keep commissions open and push myself to be more dedicated to them or chose to shut them down once & for all.

Artwork

Besides from commissions, I've only doodled a few crappy things (including almost a full sheet of Frankie Stein from Monster High because she's my favourite) and that's it. I still have artwork I need to finish too at some point, but oh well.

Still sick of doing artwork.

Like, sick of doing artwork to the point I probably could give up on it, hahahahahaha.

I'm not sure though if it would benefit me to give up on artwork or not?

Actually, it probably would.

It would free up my time to do things that don't make me want to scream and shout because they're a pain to do and the pain just generally isn't worth it.

I don't even find art expressive when I do it.

I kind of want to go more into detail, but I'll leave that for my blog almost no one reads.

Other Stuff
I'm sick of work now (oh man, I wish I could take a vacation), but that's okay. I'll get over it. I'm glad I'm learning the service desk right now. I'm thankful for that.

My room's a mess and I'm honestly too lazy to clean it.

I miss my friends.

I miss working on Kelly's Journey and my website and Japanese (especially Japanese - that's been coming up in my mind a lot lately).

I miss sewing.

Man, there's a lot of things I miss doing.

Not artwork though.

I don't miss that. Not right now, at least.
