Anyone who gets annoyed/disgusted/angry when people think all but the first season sucks.

I believe that ALL the seasons have their good points to them. What are your favourite things of each season?

Here are mine:
Indigo League (1st Season) - It's the first season that had captured many hearts. The original cast of Ash, Misty, and Brock. The three people everyone knows from Pokémon. Let's not forget episode 26; ASHLEY KETCHUM~ =D

Orange Islands (2nd Season) - "Pokémon World"; one of the two English theme songs I actually like.

Johto Journeys (3rd Season) - An all new region. Has "OK!" as an opening theme in Japan, which is a fantastic song. Though it's filler filled, it's still a very fun season.

Johto League Champions (4th Season) - Continue of the interesting fillers (yes, I like ze fillers! 8D) Also has "Born to be a Master", my second favourite dub song. XD

Pokémon Master Quest (5th Season) - Continues with the interesting fillers. Contains one of my favourite episodes.

Advanced (6th Season) - FINALLY. An all new region, new clothes, and a somewhat new main cast! In the Japanese version, this marks the start of some of the greatest Pokémon music of all time! Also the first time a guy actual sung the Japanese opening, which is cool. x3

Advanced Challenge (7th Season) - Oh yes, let's continue with the fact that this continues to have the best music out of the first series and second to me. 8D Yes, it's a fact I think AG has the best music. Also, Misty returns for two episodes and has a new outfit (which I personally like), which was nice. Made me like Imageshipping. XD Togepi evolves and leaves as well. =D (I didn't mind Togepi, but I think it's pretty cool that she let it go.)

Advanced Battle (8th Season) - ZOMFG. HARLEY. <3 ...plus the music in the Japanese version.

Battle Frontier (9th Season) - Had some interesting shippings (Lucy x Brock and Ash x Anabel), as well as some good music in the Japanese version. May's Combusken also evovled into Blaziken~! =DDD

Diamond & Pearl (10th Season) - Personal, this is my favourite season. I love how Ash and Hikari are almost equal in role (in fact, the beginning of the Japanese version reads "Satoshi to Hikari", otherwise "Ash and Dawn", talking about their adventures). I'm a fan of all three characters. I love the way they did the contest this time around. Contest style is frickin' AWESOME. ASH IN A MAID'S OUTFIT, FTW! I love how the role between Pokémon and humans seem almost equal, as well as people and Pokémon appear to actually HAVE personalities. Seriously, who's ever directing this season...awesome job. ((BTW, I'm not talking about the English version here.)

Battle Dimension (11th Season) - *points to season 10* Oh yes. Same stuff. Also includes the fact May returns...IN HER EMERALD OUTFIT. She looks adorable~! Ooo. And the fact that the English opening actually HAS credits on it!

So what about the rest of you? What are you favourite parts about each season? =3

Feel free to:
Journal it, Favourite it, Collect it, or all three!

Didn't draw the logo, obviously. XP Got it from a screenshot I took.

Indigo League: the beginning of Ash's journey. The original main cast (Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu). Ash's best Pokemon team IMO (Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charizard, Pigeotto, Butterfree, and more). Also had the most memorable moments in Pokemon history.

Orange League: One of my favorite seasons along with Advanced =D. Introduced Tracey (I personally like him more than Brock, but Brock is still awesome). Charizard finally respects Ash as a trainer and listens to him. Lorelei also appears in this season :aww:. Had some of my favorite episodes.

Johto Journeys: All new region. The return of Brock (although I wish Tracey would have stayed a bit longer). Chickorita, Cyndaquil, and other cool Pokemon Ash caught.

Johto League Champions: Chickorita evolves into Bayleef. The return of some familiar characters from the 1st season (such as Todd, Duplica, Suzy, Aya, and more).

Master Quest: The return of Richie and Sparky.Had some of the best episodes in the Johto region =). Brought back Charizard and Squirtle for a bit, who were even more badass than ever. Also had great battles.

Advanced series: Another one of my favorite seasons along with Orange Islands. Presented Ash and Brock with fresh new clothes and looks. Introduced May (who is my favorite Pokemon girl btw) and Max. Showed Ash's growth and maturity as not only a trainer, but as a person altogether. He still has his childish moments, but they're mainly for comic relief purposes. He's actually alot more mature than he was in the original series. Had some of my favorite episodes.

Advanced Challenge: Torchic evolves into Combusken. Treeko learns bulletseed and evolves into Grovyle. Shows May growth as a coordinator. Flannery also appears here =D. Misty also makes an appearance.

Advanced Battle: Had some great episodes and brought back some of Ash's old Pokemon once again =D. May gains another rival. Also had great Pokemon battles.

Batlle Frontier: Brought back most of Ash's old Pokemon team. The battle between Ash and May was also cool. Combusken evolves into Blaziken. Grovlye also evolves into Sceptile.

Diamond & Pearl: Introduced Dawn. Pokemon have actually shown some personality.

Battle Dimension: Ash's gets Chimchar =). May returns =D.

Will add more later :XD:.

:iconclapplz: Thank you.

Season 1 was mostly nostalgia. Orange Islands had Kenji. <3 I wasn't too fond of any of the Johtos. I love AG because of the brand new start and Harley that came with Battle Frontier.

DP is my favorite because of Shinji. XP Along with a bunch of other awesome characters like Kohei, Aoi and Nozomi. Also opened up a whole bunch of ships like Cavalier, SapphirePearl and things.

Also, Best Wish is a fresh new start but also retains the points that many people liked in Season 1. I also really like Iris and Dento, even though he is a spazz.

The one thing I enjoy(ed) about the latest series (best wishes? lol) is when Team Rockett all of the sudden became badass I saw it an I was all like, "Whhhhaaaa?" I'm not sure if they're still badass anymore, but THEY SO WERE!!!!

OMG. I LOVE THAT PART. I honestly never was a huge fan of Team Rocket, but then they became serious in Best Wishes and I was like "THEY ARE SO COOL, OH MY GOOOSSSH". They still are. ;D I LOVE it. Some people complain because they're too serious, but that's what makes them awesome, in my opinion. Pokémon needs some more serious characters.

I KNOW!! I mean, this is a show about freaking monsters with super-powers!! It should be epic beyond all words! If the show took itself a little bit more seriously it could have been an epic adventure story, now its just a little redundant and dare I say, childish(even for a children's show). In my opinion, THEY need some more bad-asses and less comic-reflief! :D i'm still obsessed with all of the games though ^^

=P I actually still adore the show and still actively watch it (actually, Best Wishes is my favourite series so far - only complaint I even have with it is that it's not serious enough, but there's other things, to me, that balance that out). It would be WONDERFUL though for them to be more serious though and give each series an individual storyline that spans until just before the league. I know the overall storyline is for Ash to become a Pokémon Master, but they could probably do more if, let's say, the entire storyline of one series was for Ash to take down a legendary who was causing havoc or something. Then another one of trying to get a legendary back the next series. =P Just...something that would cause some more seriousness.

yeah, in the games they are definitively trying to mix up the plot as much as they can while still staying to what they're known for. I would LOVE to see some more dramatic storylines in pokemon, but they always just leave those for the movies don't they?

Yet, I still have too much of a love for the nostalgia of the old shows to truly appreciate whats in the new ones (p.s. I'm still mad about getting rid of Misty and Brock xD) I guess I'm just an old person now Not to mention, my busy high-school schedule doesn't really let me have the time to sit down and watch the new series as much as I'd like.

XD Yes. ...even though B&W had too much plot in my opinion. >.> *just wanted to get the badges and not have to battle rivals every two seconds ._.; * And yes, they do. =[ Which sucks - they probably would be able to get a better storyline if they did in the show than a movie that's an hour and a half long.

XDD A lot of people do. I feel like I'm one of the few people who don't. >.> I mean, I can watch it, I just don't feel nostalgic over it and probably spend more time laughing over lines I didn't hear when I was younger (...;D Ash asking Nurse Joy to "revitalize" his Pokémon in episode 5. I never knew he said that, nor ever heard of that word, until I payed attention. It's added a new word to my vocabulary, haha.). I have a few theories as to why I don't get nostalgic over it, but meh. XD
